In the program this presentation was labeled as "Overview of Facebook Platform." I guess overview is a relative term... but I was underwhelmed. It was a commercial, a PR-drenched primer on Facebook's world view. I was expecting more nuts and bolts. I wish I had dollar for everytime he said, "At Facebook, we..." Nick, you are right it was well-rehearsed. But I thought it was over rehearsed, to the point of coming off like an act.

I like how Dave said at the end that he (or any speaker) can take all the time he wants only if they reveal something new :)
