Furthermore, Hitwise have recently analysed data from Facebook and found that over 1,900 retailers received traffic from Facebook in August - much of this generated by related groups and applications.
I think Visual Bookshelf is great and I have also been impressed by some of the things other retailers are doing. I think there is a massive opportunity for retailers to build relationships with customers through social networking sites, though surprisingly few are using them effectively.
