The 'user must be aware of profile page widget content' section is a reference to the FBML 1.1 addition, meaning the profile page owner won't see something drastically different from a visiting user.  The app can still generate the widget content dynamically for every visitor (the amount of things the user would have to approve would be enormously uncomfortable).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So daily quotes look like they will survive to live another day, now they just can't say "ADD THIS APP" in bright purple when the profile owner isn't looking.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Alexey Komissarouk</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 28 Aug 2007 19:19:03 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Changes to the Facebook Platform</title><link>http://www.allfacebook.com/2007/08/changes-to-the-facebook-platform/#comment-1637686</link><description>Turning off emails will significantly impact the spreading of apps I think. I mainly would add apps when I got an email from a friend invite on Facebook, it basically would get me to visit the Facebook site and add the app. I'm very surprised of this decision.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">ryan</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 28 Aug 2007 12:55:12 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
