  • No awkward moments that make me want to leave facebook, but there are some social situations I might want to get into that have me considering creating a fake account ;)
  • My first thought on seeing the Doctrow piece was that the only way to avoid socially awkward situations is by never having social contact with anyone. Reminds me of Cameron Adams' article outlining that "there are no social networks." Socially awkward situations are part of being social, whether offline or online. They can happen on Facebook or at the office, but neither is going to make me quit Facebook or quit my job.
