  Is there some possibility that they will release a calendar? The other day, right after the release of the new profile, in one of the application options screens, there was a Facebook Calendar listed. It didn't link to an app and now i can't find it. Is this some known facebook underworking, or is it possibly something they might be releasing shortly?
  
  Because seriously. Putting a great calendar in facebook that integrates with events is such an obviously good idea.

  Interesting point about the extended API features. I'd love to see them give access to messages, and give write access to the profile fields (interests) as well.

  What, no fPhone! - i will never get that iPhone (i like Facebook too much) so it has to be a Windows Mobile or Blackberry LOL!
  
  after the new profile and tons of constructive improvement suggestions i sent earlier. Facebook Connect is what i hoping for!
  
  they can also announce that they going to prohibit duplicate applications (having loads of applications of same genre) and those with same name if they like
  
  We even see Windows Live Facebook or Open ID/ Live ID adding (well announcing it) LOL

  I really hope they don't push the new profiles out tommorow, particularly since the new profiles still do not work with IE7. Once you go to try the profile, facebook comes back with an error saying that the browser is outdated and needs to be upgraded to the current version. IE 7 is the current version.
  
  It's the same problem we had when facebook rolled out their integrated chat feature that didn't work under IE7 for a good month or more.

  Doug after my list launching tomorrow fullscale will be stupid - it should keep them busy past tomorrow if they could be bothered with most are legitimate while some are personal taste.
  
  My List submitted in relevant places via send feedback as compiled:
  "--- New Profile
  - The Publisher - a second line (for 3rd Party) might be better as all 3rd Parties currently end up in the drop down
  
  - Boxes - calling it 'Apps' is abit more user friendly.
  
  - In the 'add tab' drop down add a option to add grouped tab (several applications likely with similar genre e.g. 'Hugging' on 1 tab or on that tab by company e.g. RockYou, slide, SGN and Zynga)
  
  - Profile 'boxes' in multiple locations - application tab, user/genre/ developers [multi/ grouped tab], boxes/ Apps
  
  - Allow agreed applications that will give users information about you Info tab integration (Extended Info, More Extended Info, More about me, All about Me and Custom Profile Box)
  
  - Colour on Profiles (e.g. Pink, Red, Green, Orange, Black - etc you get what i am saying)- http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10166409225 and http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8370409409 (this has a movement of near 1.1 million users in total - rises on average of 50 thousand a week!)

  (71 friend requests, 1 event and 2920 'other' requests)
  
  NB: Before you question the high amounts - the other requests is about 5/6 months worth of applications that a Group tab user defined feature would have been good for (e.g. Hugs, Quizzes) and what i had hoped would happened with seening your tabs month back on ProfilesPreview.
  
  Sending notifications instead when 2 users have a same application would reduce this (ONLY send Invites to Requests page to users who not got application already ELSE send as Notifications).
  
  currently sending a plant on say growing gifts* and green patch*(applications done nothing wrong in terms of policy) it just popular use with friends and that applications when a user sends a flower from 1 friend to another it goes to reqs.php to get user approved/ accepted (500 for green patch)

  re. profile pages dropdowns and adding scrolling
  
  The 'add tab' list (user's application tabs creation) - add a scrollbar similar to the Applications list next to Inbox (i not to keen on a list of tabs i can create that is as long as the profile - a rough count has it at 19!) maybe about 8/10/12 ish before it kicks in!
  
  'More tabs' (while viewing others) should kick in when the 2nd line is full - reason the first row is technically Facebook ;) (also scrolling if it did get out of hand)
  
  Do the same (scrolling) with publisher dropdown (if you do not add a new line for 3rd party)
  
  --- Home
  news feed on /home.php (home) needs to be extended more right towards the column with requests etc
  
  any text ends miles before the line between new stories end - it be more inline if it were inline with this line (maybe support a few more photos in a photo story or extend the wall/ note post over abit).
  
  another plus side well not the reason i write this feedback but the page could be a little shorter if stretched :)

  It was nice while it lasted, still a few wrinkles to iron out
  Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.new.facebook.com/FacebookPreviews”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
  In other words, bye bye Facebook, until they fix you.

  I think they may also include something to let you import content from other sites into your newsfeed in the profile redesign...just a thought.

  in the old style this import mode was in the minifeed via a link called 'Import' - so far there seems to be no way to edit this at the moment or import external stuff (apart from visiting the older version).
  
  i would thought aside the Wall Tab having some link (when on the profile.php (non id specified links) added to bring up a FBML window similar to the old way but they might wait for Facebook Connect - which is a high probability will be coming soon if not launched today. external sources say Youtube, Digg etc might use Connect to do what they had done another route currently (old profile version)
