Yes, I think it's intrusive. So much so I decided to manually delete all my facebook data (took about an hour) and then deactivate my account. I do not want my contact list sold to advertisers, even if it's indirect.

While facebook has not confirmed it yet, I have initial evidence to suggest that they have already launched behavioral targeting outside the facebook.com.
