AllFacebook: Facebook Has an Identity Crisis

    Hey,

Frankly I think you are overreacting, from what i've seen from developing there is little to no ways to actually store facebook users information without jumping through some major hoops and using a lot of processing power. It's not out of the question, but trying to raise a stir about silly things on a blog wouldn't help the cause much...

    Hey Charlie,

While I may be overreacting, there aren't major hoops to jump through to receive user data. I know this given that I've developed an app of my own already.

    Best,
    Nick

Nick, what kind of user data did you receive when you developed an app of your own?
  • Nick O'Neill · 2 years ago
Oh you know, social security number, home address, height, weight, etc.

No ... seriously I didn't collect anything except the people's user id. If i really wanted to I had easy access to all their profile info except for their email address.
