I have been tagged in 160 photos from countless friends' albums and several of my own (for which the permissions are universally set so that everyone can see their contents). When I'm logged in, I have the option of viewing these photos and I have the new "Tab" feature I can click to see all the albums. The problem is that none of my friends can see either link on my profile. In researching the problem, I've found that most of the people experiencing the glitch are international users. I've also contacted Facebook and gotten no reply. If anyone finds a solution, please post it here :-)

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

Another glitch-

Some of the oldest wall posts don't appear on the wall itself.

To be explicit, when I got to the profile and click "Older posts," I get a message that "____ has no recent activity." I am positive there are older posts; as a matter of fact, these missing posts appear when I access Wall-to-Wall.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

A problem I'm having is whenever I try to view a profile, it doesn't go to it, and I have to hit refresh to make it go to the page I wanted.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

Here are more:

5. When you add a box tab with an application in it, then delete the application, the box tab still remains with nothing in it rather than disappearing.

6. The photos section does not show newly tagged photos all of the time.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

The new facebook has more glitches:

1. Wall posts rarely show up when users with new facebook write on the wall of a user with the old facebook.

2. When you delete a story from your minifeed, it doesn't delete properly, half the time

3. Sometimes, when you try to add a new tab on your profile, it doesn't stay as a tab.

4. When using FB chat, users appeared to be signed off in middle of a conversation when they never logged off. Within minutes they "sign back on" without doing anything special. It just happens.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

i cant log in at all, it just says

You are using an incompatible web browser.
We detect that you're using an old version Internet Explorer that doesn't work very well with Facebook..

To get the most out of Facebook, please upgrade or download one of the following browsers:

Note: The beta site is currently disabled in IE6 because it's all messed up and broken. It never happened before, and my webserver seems plenty responsive, so it must be a screw up on their end. Maybe releasing the new design somehow slowed down the Platform.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

A true BETA.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

Same happen with google adsense

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

The login bug mentioned is not a real bug and is the result of the not final url used. When the new design gets the www.facebook.com url the "bug" will disappear.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

The new site will not be made available to most users for several days. new.facebook.com will only work for users selected to participate.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

My imported stories that carried over from my minifeed (Like Last.fm and Hulu) are formatted incorrectly, displaying {artist} and {title} instead of the actual artist and title. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

@Ian
I have noticed some strange behavior with the imported news feed stories. For example, a Digg news feed story looks like "{actor} dugg {item title} on {=Digg}", followed by the title of the dugg item and my name. That's definitely not normal. Also, I don't see any option in the new interface to import items into the feed (Digg, Flickr, del.icio.us, etc). It makes you wonder if the new design was really ready for launch.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

It also seems that the whole Import Digg/Flicker/etc. feature has gone to moot.

Re: Facebook Releases New Design, Bugs Abound

My network doesn't have the new design.
