    Nick, The way this is worded is not correct. The way you have worded this, it's asking if a Google acquisition occurs, will FriendFeed be competing with Facebook. (At least that's the way I read it, but then, I've been out of school for a looong time!)

    We'll have to see, but with the social overlay that Google is putting into place on its other services, this might just do the trick.

    My question is, how is FriendFeed different from Tumblr?
