I think that Facebook is replacing time people spend on addictinggames.com et al while they're at work, but I don't think that Facebook itself is just another addictive game. I think it's quite a lot more fundamental. I agree it hasn't revolutionized society, but I think it's on it's way.

the guy who got 666,987 is a glitch for sure. There is no way that would happen. A score that high would take 200 hours+.
The best tips I can give you with my 5 days of playing it so far,( I have reached a high score of 7532, add me dudevod@hotmail.com on facebook), is yes go to the washroom prior to playing jetman, listen to a song while you play and it will help. close msn, and any downloading programs you may have. you will then be 100% focused on jetman.

if you press ctrl-shift-”+” till the jetman game score...current score is just a little bit above the bottom of your screen... there should e about 3 millimeteres of blue from the top of jetman showing at the top of your screen you can now bounce off the top when there is no blue, which is quite often...
becase of the speed that jetman is programmed to fall faster then he rises the optimal thing to do is always bee on the rise as soon as possible after passing another obsticle the second you see the next box whether high or low you should be able to tell if you need to keep rising or just fall, which takes no skill at all... but staying level after you'v reached your height needed to pass the next obsticle is where the skill comes in. always be clicking your mouse VERY FAST and try and keep your jetman as level as possible while passing an obsticle then hold it down to rise... or release to fall. the speed and size of jetman is programmed all proportionally so even when i played this on my theater screen in my house i still only got around the same scores... however if you have a slow computer, it helps a ton because it will travel slower...
i played this game for like 5 hours one day... music going solid haha and my personal best was 7909...and i regularily get about 5-7,000 my name is curtis moody add me up on facebook if you don't beleive me...

i didn't cheat but my high score is 7909... however i do know the cheat, my friend got about 110,000 using it but the game is being recoded within a week or so and it will be next to impossible to cheat unless you know the secret;)

The guys who get incredible scores like in the thousands and millions use an anti-gravity cheat. It takes away all the obstacles, and the sides of the walls don't curve. They use the gravity cheat, (which if you use it now you're blacklisted), then leave their jetman flying for couple days. they doubtfully sit in front of their for over a day without bathrooms breaks, eating, or sleeping.
My score is 7645. big deal. and i don't play that often.

My personal best is 9005 using this cheat. Im going to tell you all about it. I dont know if its my computer or what, whenever i use internet explorer i play like u all, but when i play with firefox it slows down and its much easier. The things that ive noticed is that when i am in this application using firefox and with limewire open it speeds up again and as soon as i shut down limewire it slows down again. Also when im using winamp nothing happens but as soon as a video starts it goes faster and when the video ends its slow again. I dont know why this happens but thats really cool

ok try this. put in 5 consecutive scores of UNDER 999 then on your 6th go type in '$$$dollar$$$_manjetcreatortease' prior to hitting space or mouse button. This slows gets rid of all obstacles but you still have roof and floor. Happy days fellow jetman addicts!!!

There is one cheat I found. It has something to do with the flash settings, and it pretty much allows you to go through the objects, essentially disabling the collision detection. However, I noticed it only works on Firefox, not internet explorer.
With jetman open on firefox, press ctrl+w.

Listen, I have gotten 9,199 without cheating in jetman and the truth is it never gets harder as you progress farther. As long as you stay concentrated and know how to play you should be able to get a fairly high score without having to cheat. What is the point of cheating in a game that is supposed to be fun and incite friendly comptetion.

we're americans! we have to be the best at everything, by any means necessary! lol no but i agree, it doenst get harder, its all about concentration, i mean half the time i crash is beacuse i either chose the wrong side(high or low) to go through, or it says i crash wen i probablyl didnt. its simplicity is deceptive. its not as easy to stay that concentrated that long especially.but it would be nice to hold the number 1 in the owrld position for an hour or two.

Here's the cheat, you guys: Clear the first 10 obstacles and then type "jetwin". From that point on, you'll get 10X points. The tricky part is typing while you're playing. Have fun.

I forgot to add....an additional tip is, before playing the game, set your preferences on jetman to "Show Collision Box". It makes your boundaries much clearer. Happy playing!

I got my new record of 9260 about a week ago, without any cheat ofcourse, I actually dont understand what the point would be of using any cheat? that's only stupid. Anyway My tip would be to use my so called "rise and fall" technique. Just keep on and always accelerate and then drop when you have to. the good thing about that is that you dont have to be clicking all the time and u wont be so exhausted since coming up to about 10 000 takes about 5 minutes... the cheat is obviously Cehat Engine 5.3 first you downlaod cheat engine 5.3 (USE FIREFOX)run it click the computer on top left and scroll down and doubel click firefox and than go to middle right and enable speed hack and set it to 0.8 (from 1.0)you have to be on jetman page to maek it slower tho enjoy

there are no cheats for facebook's jetman.
there are plenty of ad's on eBay and other auction sites that say for a fee of 2$ they will give you the cheats for it. none of them will work .. they are ALL outdated for the newest version of Jetman.
filing a report of these people on eBay or the BBB will not go through because they DID provide you with a service .. one that is longly outdated.

The only two jetman cheats that are more like tips- that currently work (April 2008)are =using crtl then scroll (on ur mouse) to make jetman larger,and loading stuff on ur computer to slow it down. If anybody knows any other cheats or tips please post it.

the cheat is simple once a friend told me what you do is go onto jetman chose jet banana then crash into the 2nd barrier that comes up and hold ctrl shift once you crash the game stops for 4 seconds u then let go an carry on the game glitches and you fly through all barriers the only way you die is if u touch the top wall not the bottom hence y people get such high scores.

so i found out that if you hit the fifth square in one of the levels that you just go right through it. Glitch in the game? idk if others are like that

The best tips I can give you with my 5 days of playing it so far,( I have reached a high score of 7532, add me dudevod@hotmail.com on facebook), is yes go to the washroom prior to playing jetman, listen to a song while you play and it will help. close msn, and any downloading programs you may have. you will then be 100% focused on jetman.

ell i looked and looked and looked for a cheat on the net, but there is none that i can found i tried disecting the game and he litterally made it hack-proof, however there are a few things that you can do to help yourself out…
if you press ctrl-shift-”+” till the jetman game score...current score is just a little bit above the bottom of your screen... there should e about 3 millimeteres of blue from the top of jetman showing at the top of your screen you can now bounce off the top when there is no blue, which is quite often...
becase of the speed that jetman is programmed to fall faster then he rises the optimal thing to do is always bee on the rise as soon as possible after passing another obsticle the second you see the next box whether high or low you should be able to tell if you need to keep rising or just fall, which takes no skill at all... but staying level after you'v reached your height needed to pass the next obsticle is where the skill comes in. always be clicking your mouse VERY FAST and try and keep your jetman as level as possible while passing an obsticle then hold it down to rise... or release to fall. the speed and size of jetman is programmed all proportionally so even when i played this on my theater screen in my house i still only got around the same scores... however if you have a slow computer, it helps a ton because it will travel slower...
i played this game for like 5 hours one day... music going solid haha and my personal best was 7909...and i regularily get about 5-7,000 my name is curtis moody add me up on facebook if you don't beleive me...

Here's the cheat, you guys: Clear the first 10 obstacles and then type "jetwin". From that point on, you'll get 10X points. The tricky part is typing while you're playing. Have fun.

there are no cheats for facebook's jetman.
there are plenty of ad's on eBay and other auction sites
that say for a fee of 2$ they will give you the cheats for it.
none of them will work .. they are ALL outdated for the newest version of Jetman.
filing a report of these people on eBay or the BBB will not go through because they DID provide you with a service .. one that is longly outdated.
