Great post Nick! This was closer to the kind of content and overall interview that I think a lot of people were looking for from the keynote (What is the future of facebook?) rather than the human interest story (So...you burn notebooks?).

As far as developer feedback, I am a developer and I'm working on an application that I believe is very much in line with what Zuckerberg wants to see people building (I have yet to release it).
What I would ask of facebook's platform team is to please allow my application to store user data, after showing the user a very obvious button and telling them exactly what they are opting into. I don't want to trick anybody, and I don't want to store anybody's data if they don't want me to. What I want is to let them set things up to seamlessly work with a single click, without having to go somewhere and register separately for yet another web app.
Quite simply, I want to provide a good user experience when registering to use my application.

Excellent post Nick. I think we all wish you were the one who interviewed him on camera/at the conference.
Most of us feel a similar sense of drive as Mark...so I think we all just want a glimpse of what it's like to have the project you're passionate about grow into something that everybody is passionate about. $15 billion dollar valuations don't begin to describe almost 100 million people using your dream every day.

It sounds like you had a great conversation with Mark. What I love most about his attitude is that he is consistently focusing on helping people communicate more effectively as time moves forward.
