Nick, you keep using the word "demographic," but I don't think you know what it means. Demography is the statistical study of populations. Sheesh.

You know, most of the Facebook fear-mongering this past couple of weeks is from people who don't understand what they're talking about. Companies aren't that interested in stalking individuals, they want targetable groups.

I think what they mean is that they won't know anything about you, specifically, but Facebook will still give them aggregated numbers, e.g., "54% of your fans are male."

That sort of thing.
