  • The idea is neat, cause thousands of people use Facebook. But, well... it's not a real PM application, is it? It just doesn't have the right features, so it can be used for real project management. This app may be nice to play around with, but nothing more. In my opinion project teams will still continue to use tools like Wrike.com http://www.wrike.com/. They have graphics (like Gantt charts), tasks scheduling features (like due dates) and lot of other necessary functions that actually help to collaborate and complete a project.
  • No real need to download an app like this for a school project--you can just make a group. I could do a project in "I HATE When Kids Suck At Putting Together the Shrine of the Silver Monkey" (my favorite fb group) just as easily as I could using DivShare. The discussions, posted items, the wall, etc. that every group comes with are plenty.
  • Although I am a fan of Facebook and also a fan of project management software I feel that the combination of the two may not be the best partnership. I personally use Communiclique's collaboration software and am extremely pleased with the results. However, I feel that PM software should strictly stay PM software and not integrate into anything else. To me Facebook mixing with PM software is like mixing work and play and we all know how that works out.
