How do you use Facebook? Brandon Rennels sent me a message last night notifying me of his findings after using Facebook for the past four years. He appears to have an interest in anthropology as he has compiled a fairly substantial list of user types. Do you fit any of these?

    these are classic.

    I've also noticed "The Groupie"
    they join countless groups, most of which are completely pointless. They constantly create new groups and invite all their friends to join.

    Not only checks Facebook 24/7, but also checks 3 blogs ABOUT facebook on a daily basis. Can't wait for chat too to spend even more time on FB.

    Ah the loneliness of the long distance chatter. I like this article. Its a bit of a piss take. I am not in facebook or any other "social" cult.
    Where or what does that make me? Am I doomed to an outcast?
    I must confess however to spending at least half an hour a day in the norning (5,6 oclock) checking out the news mails and the very wicked Stumble!

    This is awesome! I got a lot of laughs. I think you should turn it into some kind of application. So someone can fill out a quick survey and it tells them which type of user they are. It can be displayed in a box on their profile.

    There are a bunch of popular widgets like this for ppl to post on their MySpace pages. They center around stupid things like "which disney character are you?", but I think this facebook one would be popular for ppl to add and not seem to MySpacey =)
