If I took everything off your desk and placed it on the floor in a totally different order than you have been used to, and spent many many hours organizing to suit your needs and eyes and removed your desk that you were very comfortable with. And changed your entrance to your office to be a washroom without a door. (like the new opening page) And told you you could never have the option to have anything back to how it was. That is what you have done to my facebook page. I have now deleted everything on it. Why did you NOT give us the option to keep the old style that many of us were happy with and the new one for people that prefer the new one. It was NOT broken!! for my needs and many others. I was not against the new one some people like it more I did not. But your guy's and your power trip ( This is now the new ONLY facebook ) has made me not interested in facebook anymore. And I am sure you will have many more in the future do the same. You have older people like me that liked to have very little on our page and have everything which was not much, viewable on the opening page, we were not into all these poke me apps etc we were just communicating with friends. We did not need all these tabs etc to go looking for things because it was all there. The old one was just fine for people like me, maybe not the younger ones, but having the options would have made things easier for all of us. including you.
But you choose not to care about us that like things simple like the old page? I am out of here, I may come back when you show some respect to us that prefer and are allowed to have an option.

Can someone tell me about how can i add a new app that i am working on, on to the profile page? I have read various blogs and i know this can be done by the app settings but in app settings only, i am now getting the option to add my app to profile.

This is the upgrade??! I defintly like the old facebook better. I, as well dislike the combined mini feed and wall, its so confusing to look at and the page just looks messy and cluttered. What a waste of time, have they ever heard the saying: "don't fix what isn't broken"?

And the tabs keep moving depending on which one you click on and when you click on something in one of the tabs you lose them completely so you cant even get back to your wall without clicking on the main profile button at the top! so what is the point of the tabs?!
I'm going to be using the old design as long as I can.

Great guide to a terrible upgrade.
They split the applications into new tabs to unclutter the profiles of the application whores who add everything they are ever invited to and then don't use it. But those of us who had the brains and organisational skills to sort our own profiles now have to click through several tabs just to see the things that used to be on one page.
And the Wall-feed thing is just fecking stupid.

I can't figure out how to create custom tabs for my applications. When I click the "plus" tab, I can choose from "Notes," "Video," "Where I've Been," and "Comments." The last one appears to be a generic name for the Advanced Wall application (why?), which I don't even have installed. Why is it showing me an app that isn't mine, and more to the point, where are my apps?

I'd like to make a tab with the Quote Book application, for example, and I can't find directions anywhere about how to do this... can anyone help? Thanks!

Is it just me or does anyone else REALLY HATE the way the wall is not? I can't stand having a combined mini feed and wall, and this whole filter thing doesn't cut it for me. I want the old wall back, but since I know Facebook doesn't care about what it's users REALLY want, they should at least add a tab on profile exclusively for the wall without the mini-feed additions.

Is there not a one-click way to see all the photos your friends were recently tagged in and their newly posted albums? In the old facebook you could just click "Photos" on the left-hand side. Now it seems there is no one-click easy way to do this.

Have you found a way to change or add imported items into the feed? (like Picasa or Flickr items on the old facebook) I can't seem to find it anymore.

Perhaps I misunderstand, but the ability to record live video for display on a friend's wall is available in the current iteration of Facebook profiles.
